Formerly a Navy SEAL and later a private military contractor for Blackwater with his longtime friend and partner Michael Atwood, Russell's unique skillset and experience make him an asset to the crews they put together along with Russell's brother, Gabriel, a former Atlanta police officer. The latest additions consist of a couple Atlanta police detectives, Marcus Belmont and Franco Rodriguez, recommended by Gabriel. Together, they pull off heists for high profile clientele — the Russian mafia, in other words. Russell handles the bulk of the planning with the efficiency for which he's known, his unflappable demeanour and innate leadership making him ideal for this role, and he takes particular care to limit the likelihood of civilian casualties happening. Despite engaging in criminal activities, he never compromises his code of honour, and looks out for his little brother above all else.
